Senior Scam Stopper
Join us at our first Senior Scam Stoppers event to learn more about protecting yourself against common scams that target Seniors. We will be joined by the San Diego County District Attorney's, which regularly assesses and prosecutes crimes against seniors.

RSVP is required as space is limited. If you can't make it to this Senior Scam Stopper session, we will have more throughout the year.
The goal of the Senior Scam Stoppers event is to equip seniors with knowledge and best practices to prevent scams. Many scammers and agencies intentionally target seniors with scams of all kinds because they are a vulnerable community.

1279 Ending Juvenile “Strikes” & Creating Pathways to Justice Webinar
Join Assemblymember Dr. LaShae Sharp-Collins and a panel of justice reform advocates, legal experts, and community leaders for a virtual discussion on Assembly Bill 1279, legislation that prohibits a prior juvenile adjudication from being used as a prior “serious” or “violent” felony under the Three Strikes sentencing law.
This bill represents a major step toward restoring fairness, promoting rehabilitation, and aligning California’s laws with the principles of juvenile justice.
This webinar will offer participants an inside look at the bill, its impact on communities, and how you can take action to help pass AB 1279 this legislative session.
