Nominate Remarkable Leaders in the 79th Assembly District!
We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 79th Assembly District's 2nd Annual Community Recognition Celebration on July 18th! This annual program honors the incredible work of women, men, and advocates who have made transformative contributions to our community.
In a district so full of diversity, culture, and history, it is my honor to recognize some of the many amazing leaders for their work, whether mentoring youth, leading in business, serving our neighborhoods, or showing up for others. Oftentimes this work is done with no expectation of accolades or reciprocity but these leaders continue to give their all, everyday.
Nomination Process:
We are currently accepting nominations for men and women in 7 categories and individual advocates or organizations in 7 additional categories. You can view the categories below. You will need to complete a nomination form for each nominee relative to the work they do. You will receive an email receipt upon submission. Below is the breakdown of available nomination categories.
