SAN DIEGO, CA – Assemblymember Dr. LaShae Sharp-Collins (D–San Diego) will host her Inaugural Health and Wellness Resources Fair on Saturday, October 24, bringing together local health providers, community organizations, and public agencies to connect families with essential services and resources.
As federal changes to Medi-Cal, CalFresh, and other critical assistance programs threaten access to services for vulnerable communities, the event will provide families with opportunities to access health services, wellness activities, and community resources.
With federal changes creating uncertainty for families who rely on essential health care and food assistance programs, Assemblymember Sharp-Collins is bringing community partners together to help residents access resources, promote preventive health care, and support the overall well-being of families and students throughout Assembly District 79.
